Will they stay in?

They are built to: nothing sticks out for the pillow to lever loose. If a tip feels loose, try a larger one. If they still end up in the sheets, the 60-night test covers it.

Will I hear my alarm?

Every ear and every alarm is different; try them on a quiet night first, before a workday. If you need to hear a child at night, talk it through with your partner first.

Will they hurt by morning?

The morning ache usually comes from a plug that sticks out and gets pressed in. This one sits inside the bowl. Start with a middle tip and try a smaller one if you feel it. Some people notice their own heartbeat at first with any earplug. If your ears get sore, stop wearing them.

Why not the $12 foam ones?

Foam works well while it is in your ear. The trouble is that it works its way out by 3 a.m., and you keep buying more. Vesper is reusable silicone in a hard case, built to still be in your ear when you turn over.
